SCHEDULING

Many projects have various tasks that need to get done by your team.

We call these "activities" and you can create a list of those freely and easily, assigning them (or not) to people in your team.

Or, switch to the time line view.

There, you can create activities simply by drawing them onto the time line on the relevant date and for the right person.

Working with milestones

Project milestones are shown on your time line so you can keep track of activities in relation to those important milestones and other deadlines.

Prioritisations and categorisation

Create your own prioritisation levels to help people work out what needs to be done next. 1 to 10? Or maybe, "Low", "Medium", "High"? Or something more creative - you decide.

Categorisation

You can create as many categories of activity as you need. In a creative studio you might, for example, have activity categories to identify artwork, copywriting, retouching, creative design and so on.

Colour your time line

The activities in your time line can be coloured to reflect their categorisation, priority or completion status and in other ways as well. Switch between the views - decide what's important to you.

Export

Flowzone is a great replacement for those who might be using spreadsheets or project boards to schedule timelines for their projects. It's always up-to-date and accessible. However, you can export your timeline view into Excel, so you can take it offline and into meetings.

Completion

You can quickly complete activities, adding a comment if you want to provide some feedback. Then they will drop off your list of things to do.

Rescheduling

You can drag and drop activities from one person to another or from one date and time to another.

Time views

You can move seamlessly between different timelines from a day view, to a single week, to a 12-month view.

View by project or user

You can view your activities by project or by user.

In fact, you can create multiple views of your activity information, each one set up in a different way and filtering in different ways.

Hybrid view

You can add columns of useful project or user information into your time line views. So, your key deadlines, project or account managers, type of work, client name (as always with Flowzone, the information is down to you!) are on the left side of the screen. And your time line is on the right-hand side. It's a powerful combination of your list views and time line views.

Permissions

You can control who can see project activities but you can be more fine-grained than that. Decide which users can add activities, who can edit them, who can complete them and who can simply see them.

Flowzone's scheduling capability is so much more than simple task lists or Gantt charts. It's perfect for you if you work in an environment where you quickly want to see what is going on with your projects and team.
