TASK (ACTIVITY) MANAGEMENT

Tasks - or activities as we call them - are a great way of keeping everyone up to date on what needs to be done.

How you might use Flowzone's activities depends on how you work.

Some people work in teams where they have one person responsible for assigning work out.

In other situations, you may just control your own activities - but want to share those with others in your team.

Or activities might not be assigned to anyone, but just show everyone the various tasks that need to get completed on a project.

Global view of activities

As well as seeing those activities relating to a single project, you can also see activities across all your live projects.

List or time line (Gantt) views

Flowzone has multiple views of activities. You can see them in a list - but click on the time line view, and you will see them plotted out against time in a Gantt-style view.

In the time line views, you can quickly drag and drop the activities across different days or weeks. Or you can reassign them to other people.

And you can choose the time frame: pan out across a whole twelve months, or focus in on a single day.

Managing and completing activities

Activities can get completed, and once they are finished they will drop off your list of things to do.

At that point you can, optionally, record how much time you spent on the activity. That way you can get an understanding of how you spent your time across the week.

Activities are great for creating task lists or schedules for your project. You can also manage activities across a team or a range of projects, so you can easily see what has been done and what is coming up.
