Michele Stokes-Sheldon heads up the design studio within the Marketing department. With her team she is responsible for delivering a wealth of technical and supporting publications that are key to the wide-ranging systems and solutions the business provides. In addition, the team produces a diverse range of creative and design work that is requested from their global colleagues across the business.

One of the challenges Michele faced was the need to provide a structure for all the work that goes through the design studio and for that to be categorised and organised according to the multi-tiered fields the business operates in.
As Michele says "We knew that we had some fairly unique challenges so it was great that Flowzone were able to create a unique system using their customisation tools."

"Flowzone has many built-in tools that we use such as the document approval process and document annotation. However, what was important to us was that they were able to build onto their standard system features specific to our requirements."
As she reflects "We have been using Flowzone now for over 5 years and it has been a key system for how we operate. It gives us all the information we need at a glance; we know where we are with every job or publication with the help from a very robust audit trail."
"We can control to a fine level who can do the different functions within the system, and everything is tracked so we can always see what is going on, even when we are working remotely."
In summary
Michele and the team are going to expand the use of Flowzone "We are now looking to incorporate even more of our process into Flowzone using the workflows and briefing forms." She continues "We want to take the process from initial briefing right through to delivery in Flowzone so that every part of our process is delivered in an even more streamlined way. It will allow us to track and report on our workflow and approval cycles in more ways and give us some new insights."
As Michele concludes "As our business is complex we need a system that can adapt to that. Flowzone has that flexibility and has always been able to deliver. It really can do anything!"
